The best time to visit Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast is September and October when the weather is driest and beaches like Puerto Viejo are at their best. December to April is also a good option with plenty of sun, though quick showers can occur. If you decide to visit the Pacific side, December to April is the best time for dry weather and clear skies.
